My name is Roticia Smith I am an LPC, NCC. I graduated from the University of West Georgia where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minored in Sociology with a focus in Social Work Social Welfare and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

My theoretical orientation is Client Centeredness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I work with children, adolescents and adults in the areas of anger, isolation, anxiety, depression, grief, fear, fatigue, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, behavioral issues, shifts in mood, preoccupation with thoughts, shame, regrets, physical and emotional trauma and setting boundaries.

My approach to counseling introduces a warm, supportive, nonjudgemental environment where you can feel free to disclose and process your presenting concerns, challenges and develop effective tools that will aid in lasting change.

If you have issues to arise that impact your emotions or daily functioning, and you wish to seek counseling; you can expect a session that consists of supportive, goal focused - active listening and productive feedback.
