Shatevia Culpepper is Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client’s unique story and strengths.
She is passionate about working with children, and dedicated to supporting children, teens, and their families in navigating emotional and behavioral challenges. She creates a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to express themselves.
She works with children and adolescents experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy to help clients build emotional regulation skills, improve communication, and develop healthy coping strategies.
Shatevia values collaboration with families and works closely with caregivers to strengthen relationships and support lasting change both in and outside of sessions. She also provides therapy for adults, offering a supportive space to process life challenges, build resilience, and promote overall emotional well-being.
She believes that healing begins with being heard and strives to create a space where every client can grow with confidence. She believes every child’s voice matters and is passionate about helping clients and families feel empowered, connected, and equipped to thrive.
